Pop Up Classes are every hour 9AM, 10AM, 11AM, and 12PM on all five Saturdays in June
Class + Open Play Included: Class starts at the class time scheduled. However, each class includes 30 minutes of open play before and after the scheduled class time, providing children with opportunities for exploration and social interaction.
- For example: You sign up for a 9AM class time. Doors open at 8:30 and you can check in any time before 9AM and use the space for open play. 9AM class ends at 9:30, and then you are welcome to stay for open play til the next class starts at 10AM.
Every Class is Unique: There are different types of classes, but if you find your jam and sign up for the same type each week, no class will ever be exactly the same!
Siblings are Included: I come from a family of 5! Could you imagine my mom having to pay for each of us to take the same class!? Signing up for a class means you are signing up for your family and their siblings, just give us a heads up on how many we should expect for that class. We hope this blesses many families of multiples! If you are a caretaker/nanny of littles from multiple families, each family group should purchase their slot.
Class Descriptions:
As you schedule your classes, please take a moment to review the class descriptions and select the ones that best align with your child’s interests and developmental stage.
- Christian Guided Meditation + Baby Massage: kid-free, or 0 – 12 months
- for caregivers with or without little ones
- The best way to take care of your little one is to take care of yourself. Come with or without your little one to level set your mind and soak in a couple minutes of peace. We will incorporate baby massage for the littles. This is our most peaceful class and is the perfect first activity for newborns to enjoy at The Bunny Hive. In fact, little ones as young as two weeks old love this class as massage has been proven to improve sleep, digestion, colic, teething discomfort, and congestion.
- Bring a swaddle blanket or similar for baby to lay on during class, and we recommend them coming on a full belly when they know they are taken care of and at peace. We provide organic sunflower oil to use on your little one, or feel free to bring your own alternative.
- Instrument Exploration, 0 – K
- A fun-filled and silly dance party with a hoppin’ playlist, where children and caregivers dance and discover different sounds and instruments together. Our adaptable class caters to all age groups present, encouraging active participation and fostering a love for music.
- Sensory
- Sensory Wonders 0 – 18 months
- Sensory Exploration – 18 months – Kindergarten
- Littles engage with their senses in a playful setting that stimulates sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste (in Sensory Exploration). Enjoy musical activities, sing-alongs, and gross motor games for a holistic sensory experience. Sensory II encourages hands-on exploration, so dress comfortably for messy play.
- Little Louvre: Arts and Crafts 0 – K
- an arts-focused class for ages 0 to Kindergarten, combining education with sensory crafts. Join us at The Happy Place for creative expression through painting, collage, sculpting, and more.Almost anything can be taught or made more exciting through art, whether it’s about nature, science, numbers, letters, colors, shapes, or even simple actions like mixing, sorting, and stacking. Our inclusive environment fosters self-expression, creativity, and exploration, with no pressure for perfection. Children of all ages are welcome to experiment with various art materials and engage in open-ended projects.
- Learning Launchpad– 2.5 – Kindergarten
- prepare preschoolers aged 2.5 to Kindergarten for school readiness at The Happy Place. This “grownup and me” class covers essential skills such as letter and number identification, fine motor skills, weather, social etiquette
- Movin’ and Groovin’ – 6 Months to Kindergarten
- Movin and Groovin at The Happy Place offers a variety of activities that promote important developmental milestones for children aged 3 months to kindergarten. It’s the perfect time to get the wiggles out! Each class features games and exercises tailored to individual age groups, encouraging fine and gross motor skills development.
- Tots & Tunes – birth – K
- led by guest instructors and musicians at New Song Music Therapy, LLC. Feed your child’s development with the joy of music through songs, movement and instrument play!
